Publisher's summary

Sometimes you've just got to flip your big dumb alien onto his stomach and teach him a thing about masculinity. It's not how much you've got - it's how you use it.

Finally, everything is going good for Carter. He's not a slave. He has a roof over his head. He's fixed his alien language translator and now can talk to Pykh and Siel, his protectors.

Thankfully, they aren't promiscuous alien hillbillies. They're loyal men who love him, and Carter loves them back. Our space marine is ready to settle into a new life on the fleaf'akhie planet and be happy.

But now there's another problem. On this planet...he's the girl? And not just any girl, but a pale, delicate, exotic princess who must be bowed to, courted, and entertained with poems.

What's a tough space marine to do, being treated like this? Setting them straight would be easy, and Carter does come clean to his hopeful fathers to-be, but now a golden-armored general brings a carriage to take him away to safety. Carter must play along with the princess act, or he and his new family may be turned away at the gates.

Contains mature themes.

Best Read Ever!

I love this book! The story line was filled with excitement, danger, romance and great sex. The love and chemistry between the main 3 characters was perfect. Joel Leslie narration of this book and all its characters in it was phenomenal! Big shout out to Eileen Glass for such a brilliant read and for picking the right narrator for it!

Perfection!!!

The lovers are two parts of the perfect man. I have cried through these books, laughed, and felt love. I have listened to them all at least 6 times in the past three weeks. I love them all. I hope there will be a fourth book. I want to know why Pyhk has a dream about the “Mud General”. Was he making deals to stave off war or was Pyhk kidnapped as a child from his parents (and old Mud General). I also want to to see their family grow and Auck reunited with his under the Omega flag. Ultimately, I want them to be free.

Want more Siel. Pike. and Carter human Omega

loved the series an especially the narrative by Joel Leslie. Is Eileen Glass going to write more on Carter giving birth, and will his mate's people meet any more humans. so they finally see a human female? I didn't want the story to end.

So Unexpectedly Good

My one and only complaint about this series is that it ended. There could easily be three more books continuing this story, and as long as they're written and narrated by the same people, I'd enjoy all of them.

I didn't expect when I downloaded the first book that it would be such a well-developed story with such dynamic and multifaceted characters, but it didn't take me long to realize this series is a diamond in the rough. The way the author illustrates the complexities of emotion in the characters and in their interactions with one another is so masterful. Plenty of times I was gutpunched by the crescendo of conflict that was building between characters, and the depths of their relationships was often moving, whether it be heartwarming or tearjerking.

And of course, though the author's beautiful prose is what illustrates the story, the narrator's rendition gives it vibrant color. It wouldn't have been the same story without the multitude of characters that were brought to life by a single person with many voices.

I have a new standard to hold other books to now, and I can only hope that this isn't the last I'll hear of this author/narrator duo.
