Another fabulous book by Clare Pooley

Clare Pooley has a gift for developing characters whom I feel like are my friends. I loved Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting and The Authenticity Project, so when I saw this new release, I bought it immediately. It did not disappoint. It was like eating candy for me. I laughed my way through this book in delight, and I found the ending very satisfying. I will really miss these characters now that I have finished the book, especially Daphne. If you enjoyed Iona Iverson, you’ll love this one, too.

Wildness and Wisdom

Being a septuagenarian and former (long ago) flower child myself, I couldn’t resist the title of this book. In between I had served as an older adult specialist with county mental health, so I can vibe with Lydia as well. Is that how they say it? Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this little story.

Brilliant as We’ve Come to Expect!

As always, Pooley develops rich characters you quickly grow to love, and converging storylines that restore one’s hope in humanity. ❤️

An Absolutely Charming Book!

Loved everything about this book. The people, correction, characters, the dog, the fullness of their life stories, the setting, and the narrator! I laughed, cried, and loved every moment of it.

Entertaining, fun and heartwarming

Just another fabulous novel from Claire Pooley! I have read every single one of her novels—and listened to them! How to Age Disgracefully is a great listen! It’s fun, heartwarming and comedic. I love this author—she is one of my absolute favorites ❤️

Another favorite

Third book of hers I've read and I can't pick a favorite. The depth of the characters and the little plot twists make each read entertaining and suspenseful. I also love how she drops in a reference of a previous character from another book, like a little homage or cameo mention. The antics of the characters are hilarious. Can't wait for the next one - they are endearing!
