Liel at his best

I initially purchased this book on pre-order in print after UnOrthodox podcast featured it. I proceeded to read the book aloud to my toddler in the tub hoping to instill some Talmudic knowledge. I purchased the audiobook hoping to glean even more insight as I find the author’s voice adds a special something.

I have since purchased two more of the author’s books and am looking forward to them.

Fantastic introduction to the Talmud

Mr. Liebovitz brilliantly strings together stories from the Talmud in a way that demonstrates just how important and tangible its lessons are—even in modern times. He’s also very easy and pleasurable to listen to; he sounds like a dear friend sharing stories around the table. Highly recommend this book.
