The Truth Is In Plain Sight

Sand separates the myth and reality. I found the historical sections enlightening, while the political analysis, especially the analysis of the Zionist movement, deepened my understanding of nationalism and how it relates to the Jews.

An interesting read!

The authors contention that all modern people groups are 100% invented is absolutely true. However, the word homogenous is not pronounced homo genius.

Challenges the narrative

This book was well researched and logical in its methodology within the discourse of post-Zionism. Throughout the work, the author challenges the narrative of Israel being a state for Jews rather than all of its inhabitants. Although controversial in some circles, it belongs on the shelf of anyone with interest in Zionism, Post-Zionism or Neo Zionism.

Introspective Truthtelling

This book is a must-read for anyone who wants to truly inderstand the truths and myths of zionist ideology that continue to perpetuate ethnic cleansing justified by religious supremacy upon the Indigenous Palestinians that have lived on Occupied Palestine (aka israel) for centuries and are more likely descedents of the Abrahamic tribes, than the European transplants who adopted the political ideology as a means to colonize and steal the Palestinian homeland. Sands discusses critically ever aspect of all myths and in the end addresses his critics. Every point and argument he makes is backed by research by prominent Israeli historians, archeologists, researchers and academics.

Refreshing in its scope and veracity

This book takes an honest look, through the lenses of history, linguistics, genetics and archeological evidence to reveal what is for some, an uncomfortable truth.

There is *belief* and there is evidence. They're not the same. Generally what one chooses to believe only affects the believer. However, when beliefs are used to commit genocide, steal land that was never yours... we must examine that belief. This book does just that.

Very interesting but hard work

I found this to be a fascinating book with a great deal of information that was new to me. However, it requires some knowledge of Jewish texts, customs and concepts which I had to learn along the way. Still I’m glad I took the time and listened all the way through.
