Finally!!!!
Definitely worth the listen. Has so many things you want to have happen that's been building for a while. I won't spoil anything but some things a lot of us were hoping for happened and it sets itself up for a good sequel. can't wait for the next book.

Actual depth from a light novel
There were so many things this series does right. I’ve read a lot of light novels on Kindle unlimited, but I don’t buy them. I certainly don’t buy their audiobooks, but when I noticed that this series was getting an audio, I bought it immediately and this volume is crux of the reason why. This is the only light novel that I actually engage with as a serious work of fiction instead of a mindless self insert escapist fantasy. No other light novel I’ve ever read could ever put me in a state that I would describe as “on the edge of my seat”. No other light novel series has ever genuinely surprised me with its plot developments instead of just repeating, “and then he blew up the bad guy with his ridiculous powers”.
No other lite novel series has ever actually bothered to have an actual villain that lasts more than one scene and has more to his character than just “Is evil, must die”
Bottom line you gotta try this series and I highly recommend these audio Books
