The way I love them! 😍😍😍😍 we love a man who falls first AND harder. Blaze was the definition of a MAN. Everything he did for Mads was *swoon*. The way he took care of her in every aspect of the word, allowed her to feel comfortable being herself, LEARNING what she likes. Omg. I cannot even. So surprisingly and delightfully spicy 🥵. IMMEDIATELY continuing the series. 4.5/5 stars.

Devoured this audio!

The relationship that Blaze and Mads is so perfect and I love how easy going they are around each other! The banter and tension between them is hilarious and hot AF! When the spice hits, it definitely HITS! I loved that there was no 3rd act breakup and couldn't get enough of them! Their communication was top tier and I love how trusting they are in each other, especially with exploring kinks! This was a perfect way to kick off the series and I will absolutely be devouring the rest of the series ASAP.

AUDIOBOOK - finally went back to listen to this audio and it did not disappoint! Narrated in dual narration by Avery Caris and Jameson Adams. It was so easy and enjoyable to listen to and they really brought Mads & Blaze to life!

OMG! Why did I wait so long to read C.L. Rose!!!!! I devoured this audio in one sitting!! This book was such a cute, swoony and sexy boss/employee romance with forced proximity, which I LOVE but then it gets into the spice and WOW!! This man finds out what she needs and he learns BD$M for her! It’s a slow burn romance in the beginning with lots of chemistry as their close friendship builds but once that spice hits, it is smoking hot!!!!

📖Mads has a dream to be a sports reporter and moves to Boston for an internship. However, once she arrives she finds out she will need a second job to afford to stay there. Her cousin hooks her up with a personal assistant company and Mads ends up working for the Boston Blizzards quarterback, Blaze.

🎧AUDIO REVIEW:
This book was such an incredibly fun and sexy listen on audio!! It’s a dual narration by Avery Caris and Jameson Adams who were both so easy to listen to and brought the chemistry to life between Mads & Blaze!!!

I love listening to Avery and her upbeat tone immediately had me falling in love with Mads as you can feel the excitement in her voice from the start when Mads got the internship. Throughout the whole book she uses so much expression and feeling in her voice during the performance and takes you on the journey Mads goes through in her professional career and romance with Blaze. Jameson has a deep tone to his voice and matches what I imagine for a pro football player. He was enjoyable to listen to and has a great female voice as well. Overall, this is definitely an audiobook worth listening to and will have you wanting to immediately dive into more of the Boston Blizzards!

Sports Romance That I Loved

I will start by saying I love this book! I kept putting it off, and when it came out on audio, I just had to give it a listen.
I am so happy I finally got a chance to read / listen, I did follow along for some of the story.

Blaze and Mads are absolute spice and everything nice. Blaze has such a big heart, and I loved it when he showed it. Mads is trying to make it in a man's world, and she rocked it! I loved her dedication to what she wanted to do and the love of the game.

If you need a great sports romance with spicy scenes, then don't look no further. You will fall in love with CL's writing and the way she tells a story. There is not one thing I would change in this book.

Avery Caris and Jameson Adams do such an amazing job bringing this book to life. The way that Jameson read Blaze, I was hooked. And Avery portrayed the perfect Mads. I couldn't get enough of these two together.

I absolutely loved this audiobook and can’t get enough of Blaze and Mads! When Mads moves to Boston for an internship, she takes on a side job to afford her own place and ends up as the personal assistant to Blaze, the star football player for the Boston Blizzard. Their chemistry is immediate, but Mads is determined to stay professional so her achievements won’t be overshadowed by her connection to Blaze. However, Blaze quickly falls for her and persuades Mads to give them a shot. Their relationship faces challenges, but they’re both committed to navigating them together. I loved how attentive Blaze is, he’s genuinely invested in learning what Mads needs and wants, and he works to be that person for her. The narrators are perfect as Mads and Blaze, bringing these characters to life with spot on performances. If you’re looking for a sports romance with real sports elements, a swoon worthy hero, and plenty of spice, this one’s a must listen!

Mads and Blaze are in my ears! I have loved this story from the second I read it on paper, but hearing it just brought it to an entirely different level!

Also the belt scene in audio. I am ☠️☠️

If you’re a fan of sports romance that blends sports with 🔥, this book is for you! The audio narration was so well done and it was a perfect blend of storyline, personal development, a man that only has eyes for her, and teases to book 2 just enough that you REALLY want to dive in! Bravo CL ! I can’t wait to dive into your next books!

Okay story but it was very jumpy in the timeline and the spice was very lacking compared to my expectations.
