How to turn a hot mess into hot love

Melissa never disappoints with her novels. She writes real life characters with really life problems that we all face. Nicole moves to a beach town to spend the summer and finish her next novel. She doesn't expect to learn how to love herself again and find someone to love. Declan has lived here his whole life and spends most of it saving all of those around him. Together Nicole and Declan learn to stand up for themselves and how to love again.

this has to be a new favorite for sure! I loved the adventure and story. I couldn't put it down, I only wished it never ended! I would definitely re-read this! a great starting over and truth in this story, jump in now!

Emotional and fun!

I’ve read books by Melissa Foster before, enjoyed them, and moved on. Hot Mess Summer won’t let me go!
I love the community of characters Nic found at her new beach house. I enjoyed her adventures with Declan. I love how mature they are…and how deeply they fell in love.
The narration of the audiobook totally fits the vibe of the book. Next, please!

Enjoyed

I enjoyed going along the journey of Nic and Declan. It was a sweet adventure. They were the perfect match. Was a nice way to relax and listen to the audiobook. Aaron and Ava are two of my favorite narrators. They always bring the story to the next level.

Fun Adventure

This was a fun adventure. I adored Declan, he was such a sweet down to earth guy, he was honest, and kind and full of adventure. Nik was a great main character, she was smart, kind, loving and open to adventures. The chemistry between Nik and Declan was amazing, I adored their friendship & all of their adventures. I loved all of Nik’s new friends, I really enjoyed how they were so welcoming and supportive right away.
I really enjoyed how real this felt. The conflicts, the conversations, the interactions. They were so well written, they weren’t overly drawn out and the conflicts were resolved so well and respectfully.
This was such a fun quick summer read.

This story and audio was amazing

I loved reading this book and the audiobook a year later let me relive the story on a new level. I enjoyed every single second. Spicy, unique and beautiful. It really hits home as a 45 yr old woman.

Older people

I loved that the older people in the book were not hot messes! The main character was honest and not annoying! Not that any of Meliss’s characters are annoying!

Fun and flirty

Lovely sweet book with a bit of spice. Very neatly wrapped at the end with a big happy ending for everyone. I found it a nice reprieve.

Hot mess bliss

I enjoyed this book for the character development, narration and story line. The characters felt authentic in that these people could be my friends. The main character experienced actual problems one goes through in life with a child, divorce, friendships and self growth. Loved the book and I want a vacation beach family tribe.
