But bantering with a stranger in a local coffeehouse reignites his competitive nature, and as the two become better acquainted, there’s a familiarity neither can ignore.
When true identities are exposed, and meddling families join the fray, old rivalries resurface. With room for only one tree to shine, winning may mean sacrificing a chance for heartfelt reconciliation.

Surprised by the warmth of narration
I needed a break from dark mysteries and evil, so chose this book for a bit of cheer - Christmas cheer. It was free for me from Audible with “computer generated narration”. I tried it and was surprised by the pleasant warmth of the narration. Sometimes I felt the inflection was off a bit, but not really a spoiler. Multi-generational character cast with their own struggles and stories. Try it!
