It’s not that I thought my fellow homicide detective would rejoice when he saw what I’d done, but is a pat on the back too much to ask for? Maybe a gold star at the very least? Awwwh!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I loved the characters and the perfect blend of romance, action and a tiny bit of suspense. I liked the way we had a POV from all three main characters. I also loved how the side characters were brought into the story. Although I was trying to guess who the villain was, it was a true surprise at the end.
I look forward to reading or listening to the rest of this series.
This is a new to me author but Declan Winters is fast becoming one of my favorite narrators.
