What a surprising story

This story started off a bit flat and predictable but as you get into it further along it heats up and it's worth a credit. You have your alpha male and a funny, witty, sassy woman Worth the credit. the narrative did an excellent job.

the story was good when there is a second book the audible should be ready to purchase like the book now i have to wait an will forget about it

so choppy

I couldn't even make it through the first 2 minutes without wanting to pull my hair out, the story is lacking with no character building and the reader is choppy as hell it's hard to follow.

Jake

I read the books prior to listening to the audio book. This is my first audiobook to listen to and I will have to say I loved it. The narrators voice was very easy to listen to.

It was romance at its most erotic!

What did you love best about His Gift?

I loved the story line. Of course, the idea of a billionaire being a street artist who tags buildings in his down time is pretty outrageous. However, we have to remember that it is a fictional story that needs this bit in order for Lacey to be distracted in the penthouse in the first place. It gave the story dimension and depth.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the interaction between Lacey and Jake. I'm a sucker for stories about a person from the wrong side of the tracks capturing the heart of the billionaire. The fact that it took one kiss to break through Jake's walls was heart wrenching. Lacey could have left at any time, but she stuck it out and was able to help Jake open up. I love a good girl-saves-boy romance. The erotica portion of the story was just a bonus.

What does Stephanie Rose bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I was able to "read" it during a road trip. I love to read and would not have been able to read it otherwise.

Any additional comments?

I will always have a problem with women doing the male voices. It was a good job, considering the fact that Stephanie didn't sound at all like a man.

Great start

Glad there is now a sequel, so much was left up in the air. Can't wait to find out if there is a happy ending......

Disappointing

Interesting premise but a little silly and no character development at all - just lots of sex. Narrator was OK but story very thin.

lacked depth

I wanted to love this book but it didn't happen. characters didn't develop enough to make me feel involved in the story.
