Easy beach read
This was just a nice light end of summer-vacation read. Fun, quirky characters — We all know at least one of them in real life! At times, I was unsure of the decade in which the author was setting the novel because of some of the outdated references. However, it didn’t take away much from the story.

Excellent first in series
I listened to the second book in this series first and I was hooked, I had to listen to book one. I love the characters and storyline, excellent narration as well. Looks like I found another author to enjoy.

I expected more suspense
I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but have to be honest and say I really wasn’t impressed… I thought there would be more suspense and interesting twists but all in all, very predictable and left me bored.

Might be the worst book I ever heard
Story could have been amazing but lacked that solid plot. Is it a mystery? A romance? A comedy? Could have been any one of them but the sorry never blossomed. Narrator was great.
Terrible. Terrible. I hope you didn’t buy this book.
