Witchcraft has a universal policy - Balance in all things.

You cannot experience balance if you are only standing in the light and never acknowledge or practice what might be called a shadow skill.

We are creation and destruction. And we can have a healthy respect for both sides of the path.

Every witch should learn how to curse and how to hex. It will keep you informed about how your spellwork might have unintended consequences that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to spot if not for understanding hex work. And because you spend the time learning the anatomy of a curse or hex - you’ll have a better understanding of how to undo one or how to protect against one.

To know how to break a hex or a curse - you must understand how they are put together.
