Ciaphas Cain was GREAT

This collection was my first introduction to Cain. Cant WAIT to hear his whole series now! Love the guard in general so hearing their side of things is always good. Great voice work too

I really liked it, even when I'm new to 40k

It was very enjoyable and the stories are short and some leave you wanting more. The only thing I didn't liked is that Audible decided to clumsy divide the chapters, so there is a new story, but the chapter is still the past story.
Apart from that, the performance was pretty good, the sound effects brought it to life. I will buy more of these audiobooks, they are enjoyable and I learn more of 40k.

The song was great

Ciaphus Cain story’s were amazing. There was a very nice song that cinematically ended another story. The last story was lacking to me though.

has someone who doesn't read books, I loved the narration and all the background, noises or music that made you feel like this was all real. definitely worth a listen!

Almost felt like a real movie

Outstanding voice acting. It read like a real movie going on in the background. I recommend this to anyone interested in starting your journey into the world of 40K.

You gotta love Ciaphas Cain! Hero of the Imperium! The stories of ordinary people in the imperium are amazing and the fact they fast these crazy odds

Good collection of stories

Great voice work, great audio. Absolutely a recommended buy for all who like warhammer. Especially militarum fans.

Awesome Soundscape

Black Library really brought these recordings to life with the added atmosphere and special effects. Now that the pandemic is over, I hope we see more of this.

I experienced the story

in many cases the storm es came to life, I felt like I felt the tensions of the characters on the field of battle and with conversations

it's a neat compilation of stories regarding the imperial guard especially the guardsmen

Loved it!

Really enjoyed this whole collection, voice casting was stellar and the sound effects were fun. My only slight criticism is that every now and then you kinda had to piece together what just happened based on effects rather than narration, but it didn’t happen often. Hope to hear more like this!
