Lectura qué debería formar parte de la cultura general de todo latinoamericano.
El autor consigue transportar a la mente a los encuentros y los lugares que Hernán Cortés vivió como un sueño.
Zunzunegui, a través de otra interpretación de la historia alejada de la oficial, logra que el receptor desarrolle un criterio propio, que permite el debate interno entre la percepción de conquista o encuentro. A la vez que genera la reflexión sobre la realidad presente de la sociedad mexicana y su clase política, invitando a la vez a un cambio de axioma de la traumada idiosincrasia inculcada.

New take/ perspective on history and identity
Wow. 3rd Zunzunegui book I read. Blown away again. I love the depth, passion, and the perspective it offers about history and national identity. I wish everyone in Latin America could have the open heart and time to meditate on this book.
