A gripping tale with MC's you root for

Fantasy not being my favourite genre, I worried a bit that I might lose interest or not fully follow the story as some books of this genre had done so in the past. Man was I wrong! I was fully immersed and invested in the story from early on and even anxious for our heroes as the story unfolded. The world building was done organically through the character's experiences and there weren't any long, complicated sections that were staged in a way so you could understand how things worked in this world. Things just were and you followed and learned about witches, griffins, knights and other fantastical things. The love story was beautiful and heartachingly difficult at times but as any good novel I was rooting for them. The narration was very much on point, passionate with each character distinct, nice cadence and emotions beautifully portrayed to bring this story to life. I would recommend this to fantasy and non fantasy aficionados alike.

I just loved this book! The female knight was hot and the pretend princess was her own person and I just love how the story played out. I will definitely listen to this book again.

Her Pretty Knight is a fantastic book that begins with a princess making a deal with a witch. There’s deception & necessary lies used by several key players. There’s witch sisters you’ll want to cheer on and a valiant knight with a sensitive soul. Mariah Rae Birch keeps you on the edge of your seat with the twists and turns around every corner.

Kimberly Wetherell did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life! I highly recommend spending a credit on or buying this book! I now found a new author and narrator to keep on my radar for future works!

This is the lesbian romance book I have been looking for, I love everything minute of this book.

Wonderful story with characters for whom you care deeply.

The story-world building is rich, characters multi-faceted and lots of twists and turns that left me wanting to return and keep listening longer. The writing is top-notch in descriptions and dialogue. The reader is also excellent. Waiting impatiently for the next book. This is a stand-alone story; so looking forward to a new story.
