Awesome book

Loved the book. Great story. Great narration. 2 nd person perspective was a neat way to write the book. Made you feel like you were apart of hell week.

Wow!

I am so glad we have people that can do this. I’ve always been captivated by SEALs but this book took it to a new level. Just listening to what they go through made me nauseous. I wouldn’t make it past the first hour. We get so blinded by convenience and comfort that we forget what it takes to bring us the safety and comfort we have. I continue to be in awe of their resolve and words cannot do justice to the level of hell they endure. It’s unimaginable. I’m at a new level of gratitude. Thanks for capturing this so well.

Intense and a must read

This book was intense to say the least. if you're thinking about making an attempt at joining the Navy Seals, READ THIS BOOK! If you're someone struggling with mindset, READ THIS BOOK!

Fascinating Story with one caveat

The story itself is fascinating and makes you realize just how far people can push themselves to accomplish a goal. The narrative style is interesting, putting the listener in the shoes of an aspiring Seal. I could have done without the author's snide political commentary.

Great listen

I got through this book really fast. Was interesting and engaging from start to finish.

Extreme immersion

Throughout the book due to performance and writing I was able to FEEL as if I was the Navy Seal going through bud/s or just in his shoes when deciding to make that leap to enlist. The extreme detail given by the author detailing every part of this man's journey helped immerse me into this book. I flinched at the thought of the injuries as if I had experienced them myself. This was a great listen and well written. The lessons learned from this book translates to everyone's life no matter if you're going through military training or not.

I was loving this book until….

The author felt it necessary to dis AOC and incorrectly describe Socialism ie what the Liberals want.
