About this listen
When girls in Gotham City go missing, Harley Quinn is determined to track down their kidnapper. But the only way to outsmart a villain is to engage in a little villainy herself. Don't miss the adrenaline-racing conclusion to the Harley Quinn trilogy.
In Gotham City even the heroes are wicked.
Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy can't wait to cross off the final items on their summer bucket list. They still need to:
- Go to Pride.
- Get mani/pedis.
- Figure out how they can kiss without Ivy's toxic lips killing Harley. (Every relationship has its challenges!)
But their to-do list gets more dangerous when young girls vanish from the streets of Gotham City. The only clues left behind are the dolls on Harley's doorstep from a mysterious sender known as the Dollmaker. The message is clear: come find me…if you dare.
Award-winning author Rachael Allen delivers the fast-paced and fiercely feminist conclusion to the Harley Quinn trilogy.
“Allen’s Harley is a fierce, righteous, brilliant, and preternaturally brace ball of chaos. I loved and feared every single minute with her.” –Dahlia Adler, author of Cool for the Summer

Story
As a thief on the streets of Cairo, Ororo Munroe is an expert at blending in—keeping her blue eyes low and her white hair beneath a scarf. Stealth is her specialty . . . especially since strange things happen when she loses control. Lately, Ororo has been losing control more often, setting off sudden rainstorms and mysterious winds . . . and attracting dangerous attention. When she is forced to run from the Shadow King, a villain who steals people's souls, she has nowhere to turn to but herself.

Thor—Son of Odin, God of Thunder, wielder of the hammer Mjolnir—is dead. And Loki is responsible. It was only meant to be a joke—tampering with the Destroyer, changing Thor’s course to Midgard—a bit of mischief with a chance of maiming. But Loki's harmless prank spiraled out of control, unleashing death and destruction on New York City and the heroes sworn to protect it. The city was saved, but at the cost of Thor’s life.

Story
Hey, hey, book lovers, take off those big thick glasses - this is Deadpool speaking! Sorry Marvel, somethin' happened to your copy guy. Anyway, this is my first prose novel, and they got this dude Stefan Petrucha to write it. He's good people. He's written novels and comics. But here's the thing: This book is about dogs. Dogs that turn into big nasty monsters. And then I gotta kill 'em. Thing is, I like killing people - the ones that deserve it, anyway - but I won't kill dogs. So that's what we call a character dilemma.

Story
The Joker is dead, but not forgotten. Gotham City is saved, but it is still not safe. By night, its new symbol of hope, Batman, continues his fight to protect the innocent and the powerless. By day, his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, wonders whether there may someday be a future beyond skulking the city’s rooftops or the cavernous halls of his stately manor alongside the ever-dutiful Alfred Pennyworth. But even after death, the Clown Prince of Crime’s imprint can be seen in more than just the pavement.

Story
Marc Spector is used to voices in his head. He’s used to waking up disoriented, unsure what his alters, Jake and Steven, might have been up to. He’s used to having an Egyptian god command him as Moon Knight, his avatar of justice and revenge. What he’s not used to: staring into the face of a literal, out-of-body doppelganger. Another Marc, crash-landed from an alternate reality, begging for help? Yeah, that is a new one, even for him. But before he can really process anything beyond Khonshu’s incessant alarm bells, it becomes clear this other Marc didn’t travel solo.

The Battle of Serenity Valley was the turning point that led the Independents to their defeat at the hands of the Alliance. Yet the Browncoats had held the valley for weeks against all odds, before being ordered to lay down their arms. Command stated they refused to send in airpower because the ground war was "too hot". But the soldiers who were there insist that was not true.... While picking up a new cargo on Persephone, Captain Malcolm Reynolds is kidnapped by a bunch of embittered veteran Browncoats who suspect him of sabotaging the Independents during the war.

Critic reviews
“Perfect for hard-core fans and new readers looking to fall in love with this smart, rebellious, iconic character.” –Julian Winters, Award-winning author of As You Walk On By
"Maniacally plotted and diabolically feminist, Harley Quinn: Reckoning shreds misogyny with science and features a girl gang that readers won’t be able to get enough of. Every girl who’s ever been pushed aside, overlooked, or held back will root for Harleen and be clamoring for more."—Lisa Maxwell, author of the New York Times Bestselling The Last Magician series
“Harley Quinn: Reckoning is a powerhouse of a villain origin story that sizzles with tension and terror, humor and heart. Allen deftly weaves weighty themes, such as sexism, classism, the way our experiences shape who we become and the way we shatter expectations, into a gripping and witty whodunit. This version of Harley Quinn is my new fave supervillain-in-the-making and I can't wait to read more!”—Gilly Segal, New York Times bestselling author of I'm Not Dying With You Tonight

So sad it's over
This was an amazing take on DCs popular character Harley quinn , the narrator was amazing and a perfect fit for Harley. This is one of those series I wish I could erase from my brain just so I could read it again

On par with book 2. Neither quite reach book 1
Exceptional narration. The story's quality is about the same as book 2; I still think 1 was best. I liked the take on the villains in this novel. However the body-horror elements will make it difficult for me to recommend this to the people in my life to whom I recommended book 1.
