About this listen

After seven years, I’m coming home.

Studying in London was an amazing experience, but was it worth it? That’s the question I keep asking myself. It cost me a lot. It cost me Colin Hill. I’ve been in love with that boy since the first time I saw him in grade three. I thought that breaking up with him before college was the right thing to do.

But now, I’m not so sure. Because I’m back in town and I forgot how special it feels to have the big grump look at me with such possession in his eyes. I’ve forgotten how incredible it feels to have his strong hands on me.To have his arms wrapped around me.I forgot it all.

But it’s all coming back now. Stronger than ever. I just wish he felt the same....

This grumpy possessive mountain man is about to have a second chance with the perfect girl he lost years ago when she comes waltzing back into town. Making up for lost time can be so fun!

A SAFE second chance romance with no cheating and a super sweet HEA guaranteed. Double V-Cards! Enjoy!

Not so Grumpy

I enjoyed this one. I did want to know more about when Molly left Colin for school, it seemed glossed over. Loved the epilogue.

Sweet and Passionate!

This is the fifth book in the Greene Mountain Boys Series, a Mountain Man Romance. I love this series. Molly and Colin's story is sweet, cute, passionate and heartwarming. The chemistry is sizzling hot. This is a beautifully written second chance romance. Patrick Zeller and Kit Swann did an excellent job bringing these characters and this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Yearning in the Mountains, the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

unbreakable

The audiobook has amazing voices, who really add to the story and let me experience it again in the best of ways.
For the story:
Molly and Colin met in third grade and were best friends and then a couple, until Molly left to become a veterinarian seven years ago and left to London. Before leaving she broke up with Colin, knowing he belonged in the mountains. Returning home, she knows where her soul also belongs. They never got over each other. At their first encounter Colin is rather standoffish, but can not resist the thought that she goes to the pub and other men will be there. Will they get a second chance for love? They certainly have to get over some hard feelings.
Molly and Colin really touched me. At the end they only want the best for each other and Molly hurt Colin, but they were not only lovers but also best friends and just belong together.

First Love, Second Chance

I always love an Olivia T. Turner audiobook! I really enjoyed the narration. I thought both narrators were good voice actors, doing the voices of males and females very well. It’s dual narration, and each narrator reads a different POV chapter from Colin and Molly.
First Love, Second Chance is one of my favorite tropes and Turner does it really well. Colin and Molly have loved each other since the third grade and their seven-year separation has been hard on both of them and has turned Colin into a renowned grump. Their reunion is a joy to read about, the sexytime scenes are five volcanoes hot, and Charlie is a superbly cute dog. As always with Turner, this story is safe with a HEA.
Tropes: First Love, Second Chance, Grumpy/Sunshine, Double V Cards, J/P Hero, Adorable Canine, Ssearch and Rescue, Damsel in Distress.

Loves makes a comeback

It is nice to see that if you love something you let it go. If it is meant to be it will come back to you. Both of those old adages ring true in this story. So sweet.

Great second chance romance

This was a great second chance romance mountain man style. It was a short, over the top story and I loved it. Molly and Colin had great chemistry and I liked them together. Great story.

Audiobook review: This was a good audiobook but the narration was very slow, luckily once it was set to 2x speed it was pretty good.

Returning to my forever

The production of this OTT book was masterfully done. The narration by dual narators captured the tension and feelings the main characters (Colin and Molly) had for eachother, as well as their regrets about the past. Some choices, though right in the moment, haunt you for years. It's a gift when you're able to shed their weight and breathe freely once again. That sentiment ran through my mind more than once during this story, as both Colin and Molly dealt with the ramifications of their choices.

It was my pleasure to review a gift copy of this audio presentation. I would highly recommend it, either in audio or written firm.

Fantastic book!

This is a review of the audiobook. I love the dual narrators for the different POVs. It's a fantastic book that takes you back to Greene Mountain. Molly has returned home after seven years of school abroad. She knows she shouldn't have left Colin as she did and wants to mend things between them. I enjoyed this book so much. I'm never disappointed with Olivia's books!

I Enjoyed It

'Those dark brown eyes are just as intense as I remembered them. He’s staring at me, but his face is giving nothing. I can’t tell if he’s happy to see me or if he wants to throw me off the mountain.'

I read this book a couple years ago and enjoyed it. (Original ebook review below.) So I was excited to listen to it in audiobook format. Patrick Zeller and Kit Swann did a good job bringing Colin and Molly to life.

Original Ebook Review 5/28/23-

Loved it! I've loved this series from the start. Another fun and cute romance. This time the girl who got away comes back seven years later, and Colin isn't letting Molly go this time- at least that's what I expected going in. He's still very possessive, and grouchy. But she's not there to get him back. They're only catching up after all these years, right? He has to let her go for good.. 4 stars.
