About this listen

Grief is a personal journey, never the same for any two people and as unique as your life and your relationships. Although loss is an inevitable part of life, how you approach this fact can make the difference between meaningless pain and the manifestation of understanding and wisdom. This audiobook shares a mindful approach to dealing with grief that can help you make that difference.

By walking this mindful path, you will discover that you are capable of transforming and healing the grief you carry and finding the spiritual and emotional resilience you need to move through this challenging time. These mindfulness practices, explained here in simple and practical language, will help you bear your time of grief. But they will do more than that, too. They will guide you to a life more fully lived, with more meaning. These simple practices will help you experience what richness comes from asking deeper questions about loss and about life.

pushes Buddhism. But Jesus is the ultimate answer

Gentle voice of Narrator Andrew Mulcare.
The words are helpful. He wrote the book for all faith persuasions but emphasized Buddha. a human man. Jesus is Savior. Buddha was before Jesus. Grieving lesser from this book.

Comfort while grieving

In a fast moving world where people rarely slow down a person grieving can feel lost in the shuffle of life. This book provides an opportunity to slow down, relax, and listen (and in an odd way for you to be heard). I felt embraced and understood. It explains grief in a way that describes its multi faceted nature. Good read. I look forward to other books by this author (and the speaker).

Finally- A Grief Book I would recommend!

After reading about 12 different "Grief" books, this one spoke to me and explained things in a very relatable way. Great for self help:awareness but also for friends and loves to read so they will understand grief and how to be supportive. Thank you!

Good for fresh loss

This is a great read for someone who just lost a loved one, or is preparing to. I lost my mom four years ago and dad two years ago, along with two miscarriages. I was referred to this book by my therapist, but found it not as helpful as I hoped; I believe this is solely due to my losses being relatively long ago compared to the fresh context.

Really put a lot of things into perspective

I found this book to be a great tool in helping me understand a lot of feelings I have regarding not only the loss of my father but other events in my life which have caused me grief. This book provides great tools and new ways of thinking to support you along your journey up the "spiral staircase". I am so grateful for having discovered this book and I recommend it to anyone I come across who is grieving.
