Good Story

I thought it was a good story. The narration was good except when she was speaking for the child. That voice was high pitched and like nails on a chalkboard. Fortunately, the child didn't spend any extended time speaking in the book so it was tolerable.

Didn't see that ending coming

A great story from start to finish. A mother's love and how powerful it is. Highly recommend. Loved it!! 😀😀😀😀

Entertaining

This was a very sweet story with a lot of family drama, but as the story was told it had a lot of uplifting moments as well as sad moments. It is worth the purchase.

Tragedy in Loving a Child

I did not like the ending. I won't spoil it but the story has an ending that devastated me. All I can say is a mother's love will overcome any situation, no matter how hard.

Gracie’s Secret is well kept...

Usually I can pick up foreshadowing hints that give the plot away thus making the story less than suspenseful , but not this excellent work of fiction! There are so many twists and turns all the way to the bittersweet end. One of my Audible favs, hands down!

I enjoyed the story but the whining kids voice was sooooo irritating and totally distracting

It was a great listen I enjoyed it quite a bit. However...when the narrator would speak as if she were the child, it was a high pitched shriek. Terrible. Almost stopped listening for that reason alone. the story was good tho.

WHAT A GREAT STORY!!!! THIS ISN'T YOUR REGULAR PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER, BUT ABOUT LOVE, HOPE, AND THE POWER OF A MOTHER!!!! I CRIED AND CRIED. THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK!!!! LIKE I SAID, IT'S NOT A NORMAL THRILLER, YES THERE ARE SOME TWISTS AND TURNS, BUT THIS IS MOSTLY OF A MOTHER'S DEVOTION TO HER DAUGHTER..... LIES PEOPLE TELL, AND HOW DESPERATE PEOPLE CAN BECOME IN THIS LIFE.

Gracie is a delightful, precocious three year old. Her mother wraps around her. But mother is a neurotic. She chronicles Gracie all her mother’s life in journal a journal. From whence comes the story.
Gracie’s mother has just been abandoned by her. The mother’s story continues. I won’t spoil the book. But let me say, that this book catches the reader up into the madness. Good story read by with excellence by Allison Campbell..

Screeechy Narration

The plot was fair with enough intrigue to keep listening BUT there were times I had to turn it off or st least very low to avoid the screechy high pitched annoying reader!!!
