Connor is Kerri's good luck charm, but is he lucky enough to win her heart?

Basketball star Kerri "Killer" O'Connor knows she's bad luck, and she's tried everything to keep it from ruining her life - a rabbit's foot, a horseshoe, her dad's lucky shirt - she's never without one.

When her dad gets hurt in a freak accident on Friday the 13th, Kerri is sure she's to blame, but then a boy shows up wearing her father's old sweatshirt, and Kerri's luck suddenly does a 180.

Convinced that Connor Murphy is the talisman she needs to change her fate, Kerri begs him to be there for her while her dad is recuperating. Connor doesn't believe in luck, but he'd do anything to win the girl of his dreams, even if that means spending all his time with Kerri.

Connor never expected to fall for the kooky girl with the crazy superstitions, and Kerri's convinced that Connor wants someone else. But when luck turns to love, can Connor convince Kerri that he's more than just her lucky charm?

This story is the second book in the Holiday High series but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

A cute high school romance

Lucky Charm is a cute high school romance about a superstitious girl and the boy she considers her good luck charm. The story is sweet, if a bit predictable and the characters are pleasant. The narrator does a good job with the audiobook.

I received a copy of this audiobook as a gift. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Sweet Story.. Fast read

What did you like best about this story?

This was such a sweet, feel good story between Kerri and Conner. There were times when I just wanted to shake both of them. And I felt so sorry for all the bad luck Kerri has. I feel like her on some days. This book will will make you smile, it's worth a read

What about Sarah Puckett’s performance did you like?

Sarah Puckett's narration was good. She was better than some of the others I have heard. You won't have a hard time getting into the book listening to her.

Remembering High School

Would you listen to Good Luck Charm again? Why?

I would listen to this again. It reminds me of my friends in high school.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Carrie was fun to listen to. Learning about her personality and her superstitions. She loves her family and cares about her friends. She was really into her sports. Connor reminded me of a timid young boy.

A wonderful, funny, and unexpected love story.

What made the experience of listening to Good Luck Charm the most enjoyable?

The narrator portrayed each character in a unique way bringing them to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Good Luck Charm?

I conflicts the Kerri caused with her belief in good luck charms as she dragged Connor in was hysterical. Connor's confusion with the situation was funny, but his willingness to help Kerri in spite of it was wonderful.

Which scene was your favorite?

Kerri's demanding Connor to give back her father's sweatshirt when he had no idea what was going on was very funny.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed through the numerous amusing and convoluted situations.

Any additional comments?

The narrator did a wonderful job in this story.

He wants to be more than a good luck charm.

Kerri constantly has bad luck. Her dad is usually her good luck charm, but he is in an accident and can't be at her basketball games. How will she take her team to the finals if she doesn't have her good luck charm? Then she meets Connor. When he is around her luck changes ever time. Connor is a good guy, but he has his limits. After obsessing over another girl for a long time, he finally is realizing just how special Kerri is. But, does she see him only as a good luck charm or could there be more between them?
