These stories were really good. I like the characters and although I read these out of order I still was able to follow.

Sweet Mystery

I enjoyed this series, laugh, mystery, tear up, laugh and sweet ending. There is not any more to say, except what are you waiting for? You really have to listen to this, if you want to escape the insanity of the world and have some fun.

Very entertaining

Loved the light dialogues between characters and the idea of grandmothers being so active. Being of a certain age myself and being active should be written about more often.

Already Missing Nikki and the Grannies

I know some things may be a stretch, but I so enjoyed the first 3 book set and this 3 book set. So much fun!!!

Except for one voice...

Funny funny funny. Writer is SO original.... "Make people in hell sweat"... Is only one outrageous, shocking statement from one ole granny..and they just keep on coming. I only have a single criticism for the reader, who is really phenomenal considering all the fast paced conversations. Hattie's voice is SO grating it it almost too hard to bear. While it may be somewhat intentional considering her character, as a listener I would find it far easier to follow her hilarious comments if they weren't so "nails on chalkboard". Could you temper it a tad without losing her edge?

Very funny mysteries

I just finished listening to all 6 books in a row. The mysteries were very good, and the narrator and writing were also excellent. Each book was very different as far as the different murders that happened. And the humor was extremely good... I really enjoyed many of Lloyd's lines and in Book 6 there is a part where Nicki tries to hand someone a caramel. I don't think I'll ever forget that... so funny. Highly recommend if you like a nice cozy mystery that has humor. I would really like more of these but I see that there are only 6 (at least so far).
