Another hit!

I love love love this series. Tracy narrates the accents perfectly with serious talent. Couldn't put this book down. Listened to the entire thing in one day! Looking forward to more books by A. Zavarelli

Awesome!

The narrator did a wonderful job with the characters in this books! Alexei & Talia's characters are amazing in this story. The book is well written and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Angst delivered without horror or slow motion

Zavarelli delivers in her story of 2 characters trying to overcome their personal demons to find their way to each other. This 3rd installment of the Boston Underworld develops the story of 2 characters referenced in the first 2 books. It's not essential to read them in order, but it makes the story richer. Marks has done an excellent job with the narration for this series.

Love this series!!!

Out of all the books in this series, this was a tougher listen. Ghost is so closed off, and tormented. It's credit worthy but again, this is my least favorite of the books (not as sexy). Narration off the charts!!!

Beauty from Suffering

This was a very emotional read with several twists; one I really did not see coming. Talia and Alexei shared similar life experiences with rejection and parental losses. Their experiences made them closed off and relationships harder for them to navigate. What Talia goes through is described in detail at the beginning of the book and it is not for the faint of heart. It's heartbreaking.. They work through their issues for the most part and just when you think they've about made it, disaster happens and off we go again on another wild and sometimes painful ride. The ending is totally worth it all though so hang in there. Beautiful epilogue.

Ghost did not disappoint...

I read the book, but wanted the audio to listen to when I worked out. It did not disappoint. I loved it!! A Zavarelli knows how to write the story, and Tracy Marks knows how to put a voice to it. I'll be listening to Ghost again...

Anther fantastic story!!

This is an exciting, adventurous and thrilling, and sometime sad story. You never know what is coming next. I myself really enjoy (always have), the dark side of this story and the whole series. So once again I’m giving it 5 stars. Even though this could be read/listened as a stand alone.

Excellent series!!

This is a dark mafia story with surprise twists. The series is excellent. If you like that genre, you will love this series.

SOLD..BEATEN..DRUGGED..STARVED....RESCUED!

We learn about Talia's disappearance in the first book CROW. Mac and Talia are best friends, the last place Talia worked was at the bar/strip club owned by the Irish Mafia. CROW managed the club and Mac came there looking for Talia. This is how CROW and Mac met. Talia had gone to Mexico with her, thought to be boyfriend, Dimitre who sold her into sex slavery.

In the 2nd book Reaper, Talia is located in Russia. The Irish and Russian Mafia's have an alliance so Mac asked Alexei, Counselor to the Russian Mafia's Pecan, to use his connections and rescue Talia.

In Ghost, Alexei rescues Talia and this is their story...

The feel of this story is somber. There are flashbacks of Talia's treatment as a sex slave. There is mystery and suspense. The story moves along at a nice pace without any fluff or a lot of inner dialogue.

I've enjoyed this series and it's definitely a keeper for my library.

A. Zavarelli is a talented writer and Tracy Marks gave an all consuming performance.

Worth a credit/$$: Yes, Yes, Yes...get the whole series.
