A title for all gears fans and just overall a good listen.
I have been a long time fan of the gears series both book and game, and feel like the books do the series a great service to the franchise. It's a bit different hearing the voice actor of Anya characterize Cole and Hoffman but she does a great job for her own character and Bernie. Only thing that could be better is having the voice actor for Cole or Marcus portraying their parts but overall quite happy with the narrator.

same story different narrator
the stories the exact same no disrespect to Nan MacNamara she is good but I don't know why the would add 2 of the same story

Fun, would have liked more action
Not as much action as I would’ve expected from a gears of war novel. I also don’t understand why you would choose a female voice actor to voice characters that have comically deep voices.

Character voices
Once again, love the story, huge fan of the gears franchise. Just the narrator does not have the deepness or bass or gruffliness in her voice to do the male voices.It's really a drawback and takes away from this story.
