perfect addition to GoW
this series is a perfect addition to gears of war's already amazing storyline and universe. it's great that Nan does the voice for it as she portrays Anya stroud. only wish we could have had the other voice actors from the game to add to this amazing story but that's asking too much! seriously if you love gears of war, these are must listens.

This writer gets it
Karen has written the best Star Wars and halo stuff, but gears is my favorite story games. She did a great job here. This story is very good at taking the characters we like, giving them depth without changing who they are, and even though we know their eventual fates the action is suspenseful.
If you played gears 3 and teared up when “he” died, this book will get you. Gonna buy a physical copy of it.
