A great writer can only write a book this bad.

The sharp comedy is written for fans of both reading and writing and some sentences contain multiple levels of jokes. I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end and my only regret is that it didn't go on longer.

I would have used proper punctuation in the title of my review, but I believe that that is the crutch of cowards with no imagination. You now have the ability to sample the most brilliant mind and horror in an audio format for the first time and to not do so would be a sign of ill-breeding. I cannot recommend this enough. would ask anyone who is not cheap or choosing to live their life in a less than honorable fashion to make this a part of your horror collection.

Reads like an unhinged Clive Barker

I thought it would be as bad as his failed TV show, but without having to worry about cinematography, sound, and actors, Garth Marenghi commands your attention with a wide variety of words, unpredictable storytelling, and fearless voice acting. Marenghi has mercifully inserted trigger warnings before sections deemed too radical, too...dangerous...by his publisher.

Marenghi has raised the bar on horror

Hideously graphic. Aggressively erotic. Emotionally taxing. This is a true page turner...if this audio presentation had pages. Marenghi has once again raised the bar of the horror genre. No other book on the planet has ever made me physically ill to the degree Terrortome has. A true exploration of the farthest reaches of the darkest places in the most creatively horrific mind.

Garth has written more books than he's read.

If you loved Dark Place, you'll love this. I need Incarcerat to be released in the US asap.

A love letter to Darkplace fans

If you've enjoyed Matthew Holness, especially Darkplace, then this was made especially for you. The thing I personally love so much about his writing is that he puts so much effort and thoughtfulness into the aesthetic of low-effort, thoughtlessness.

If you’re at all familiar with “Garth Marenghi’s ‘Darkplace’ “, you’ll know full well what you’re getting yourself into. If not, do yourself a favor and sit down for six episodes on Amazon Prime. You’ll be glad you did. Though it is not necessary to fully enjoy this masterpiece. I laughed raucously so often at this Audiobook, that I was prohibited from further listening while working. Matthew Holn-I mean, Garth Marenghi is an absolute genius of our time.
