GPS for Life: My Journey to Faith, Healing, and Purpose
Raised in a home filled with contradictions,I grew up with conflicting messages about faith, emotions, and life itself. Without clear guidance, I navigated adolescence fueled by anger and rebellion, turning away from God and choosing my own path. Even now, when republishing this book, I realize how far I’ve fallen back into not-so-good ways. The good part is, I can get back on track now.
As a teenager, that path led me into trouble. As an adult, while I found professional success, my personal life was in chaos. A single mother to two sons, nine years apart, I lacked the coping skills to manage my struggles. Depression and despair led me to the edge. I lost my home, turned to drugs, and found myself in a living hell. Homeless and broken, I reached a turning point. I quit drugs, turned to God, and finally found the love and acceptance I had longed for all my life.
GPS for Life is for anyone searching for direction, healing, and a deeper connection with Adonai and His son, Yeshua. After over thirty years as an atheist, I discovered a pattern in the Messiah’s teachings that transformed my life. As I began following Him, step by step, I experienced a profound shift, learning to embrace faith, purpose, and the road to true healing.
This book is about finding acceptance, belonging, and strength through your walk with Yeshua. It doesn’t promise an easy road, walking the way of the cross means facing personal challenges head-on. But once you start, you won’t want to turn back. If you’re ready to discover God’s purpose for your life and how to achieve it, GPS for Life will help guide the way.
Brandy Marks, author and artist, earned a master’s of education in guidance and counseling from City University in Vancouver Washington. She then went on to earn a doctorate of religious studies in biblical counseling from Trinity theological seminary. Now retired, Brandy writes both nonfiction self-help books and fiction novels.
