Best book I've read in a long time!

This is a must read. Gripping, emotional and true. Makes you appreciate Zuckoff's brilliant writing, research and his dedication to getting the story right complete with helping us to know these heros. Thanks for a super book.

Real Men

I am a man. Not really! I'm just a wimp. You probably are too. Now this true book will tell you the story of real men; men of unimaginable courage, strength, faith, self-sacrifice, endurance, guts, fortitude, intelligence, know-how, skill, ... more. This is one of my favorite books of all time. Zuchoff brings it all together in a masterpiece. Look up his other books too - you won't be disappointed.

Heart wrenching WWII story’s

The narrator was a bit monotone but the story was great. The story was well written and heart wrenching. Thank you so much for this educative book.

Excellent listen

This book is exceptional. The author narrates and he is a wonder reader. Lovely voice. Gripping. I was really interested in this story and I had somehow never heard about it before my dad recommended this to me. Well done. Will listen again.

If you are enamored of WWI, nonfictional both. This is for you. You’ll be taken to the edge of your seat time and again as you come to know these men, and a few women. It’s a meeting of heroes you don’t want to miss.

Great book

A stunning and fascinating exploration of military plane crashes in Greenland during WWII and the men who lived, died, and survived. I had a hard time putting the book down and did a little additional research to answer some questions I had. I recommend this book.

A book of hero's

A story encapsulating the willingness of persons of great individual worth who esteem others in need, and the actions of those others, more than themselves, and who likewise unselfishly endeavor to serve and thereby dowse themselves with honor in their own individual and collective courageous feats.

Creatively and entertainingly reported, I can only hope this author will find other adventures to join and relay and that his recompense will improve well beyond his expenses. I know that I will gratefully pay his full price for another such heroic tale. How pleasant to know that brave souls still exist who appreciate and venerate the brave souls who lived with honor before them. Very well done!

Great story of American hero’s!

Thank you to all for the efforts put forth to bring these hero’s out for us all to better understand these missions and the sacrifices made. Amazing findings after all these years. I felt my grandpas presence as I listened to this story. Thank you so much!
