Captivating story of the abuse of a narcissistic partner and healing past that

This audio book captured my interest immediately with the excellent narration by Rebecca Ramirez, the clever music and sound effects during the tango and beach scenes, and the highly interesting and engaging story line. It felt as if I was there with them at times with Ms. Adamo’s vivid and imaginative imagery. The second half of the book contains list after list of helpful facts and red flags regarding narcissistic predators for anyone who needs to learn more about this issue. I highly recommend this audio book!

More than just dance lessons - Very poignant!

The protagonist finds herself caught in a well-crafted, all-encompassing web of lies and deceit. Elena, a woman who loves life becomes involved with Cesar, a man who is very adept at lying, manipulation, and is a stereotypical narcissus. Elena turns to Don Charlo, a master instructor of the Tango, to enrich her dance skills.

From Love Trauma to Fearless Love is a unique book that explores the relationship between a Narcissist and their prey in an easy to understand and relatable manner. After each dance lesson, Elena applies the lesson to her relationship with Cesar until she realizes she has not only lost herself but is in a highly toxic relationship that could and will leave her broken beyond repair.
No one wants to hear bad things about a significant other or someone we care about; we would much rather blame ourselves. Narcissists know this. I enjoyed the technique Jianny Adamo employed to educate her listeners on the warning signs and more importantly how to extradite oneself and step onto the road of recovery and healing. The lessons are delivered in a clear, thoughtful and non-threatening/non-shaming manner which is important.

It is a powerful delivery of very important and useful information for healing. I enjoyed her creative style and look forward to more by Adamo. The book is short but very powerful and enjoyable. This is not a book that you listen to and move on quickly to the next one, it is a thought-provoking book. I thought Adamo handled the sensitive portions of the book well.
The narrator, Rebeca Ramirez performed the book expertly with the correct amount of passion, fear, longing, and confusion. Her pace was steady and smooth. I enjoyed her voice for Elena and found her easy to listen to.

The production quality of this audiobook was clear and well done. While I am not a fan of sound effects or music on audiobooks, this was an appropriate time to have the Tango music playing in the background at times as well as the few other sound effects.

This is a unique book that I thought was well done and highly informative; although I am a huge fan of reading books this was much more powerful as an audiobook. I look forward to hearing more by Jianny Adamo.

Anyone who has ever fallen in love, must read this

This book draws you in from the first chapter. It's a self help book wrapped in a romantic novel and this is what makes the book so poignant. So many psychological concepts are shared in such a way to help us realize that we are all human and vulnerable when opening ourselves up to love. The teachings around predators and narcissistic personalities was a nail biter and really teaches us all how to be on the lookout for this type of person who can potentially hurt us. I love the narrators tone and cadence as she takes us through each scene and I also really appreciate how she acts out the different characters in each chapter. The fact that ambient sound was added to the different sections of the book, transports you to the time and place that is being described which to me made me rate this book with 5 STARS. You will love the story and the lessons. I highly recommend.

To anyone who needs hope and healing

From Love Trauma to Fearless Love is a book of hope and healing. This Book is for anyone who is, or has been, in a relationship characterized by confusion, mistrust, control, sexual betrayal or abuse and has felt manipulated either emotionally and/or physically. Ms. Adamo poetically weaves a story of Elena, a woman who is caught in such a relationship. The story shows how Elena comes to the realization of how Cesar’s toxic treatment of her has led her to deny her true identity. The reader is not left there in despair. Ms. Adamo then describes Elena’s path back into knowing who she was always meant to be and finds healing for her mind, emotions and her body. Ms. Adamo ends her book with practical steps for the reader to take if they too have experienced an abusive relationship and are looking for healing.

Raw, honest, and healing! Truly a great read!

This story is a great way to introduce the different forms of abuse that goes on in relationships that are usually overlooked. As someone who has been through a narcissistic relationship myself, I found this book to be healing. Listening to this book, I felt validated and relatable through the descriptive detail of the situations that happened between the two partners. Following Elena's journey of heartbreak to fearless love, I was able to compare her experiences with mine and rationalize my own trauma. The voice of narrator Rebeca Ramirez is warm and comforting which allowed this book to be an easy listen. The clarity and power in her voice is energetic, emotional, and brings this story to life. I really enjoyed listening to this book and I hope anyone who is dealing with narcissistic abuse finds this book to be helpful as well!
