A very cute and sweet romance, if maybe a little predictable, that makes you think fate is possible. Well narrated.

The Whole thing was outstanding!! I couldn’t put it down! I highly recommend this book. Five stars without hesitation!!

Swoonworthy Romance

I absolutely loved this book and audible! The narrators did an incredible job of brininging Jules and Simon to life! The narrator for Simon, wow that accent is sexy! I loved getting Jules story, I loved that character from My Ex Mas Emergency, and couldn't wait for her story! Jules is a sweet woman who feels invisible to her family and the world. Simon is the sexy guy she fell for, but lost to who she thought was a friend. I loved their story on how the daft prince tries to win the princesses heart once again! This story features the cutest little boy, lots of fun adventures, swoon worthy moments, laughter, maddening moments, and moments that pull at the heart strings. I most importantly love how Jules learns to love herself and know she truly deserves happiness and love. This book is definitely not one to miss!

Fun story that went off the rails every so often

The narration team gets most of the credit here. They did very well. The story was fun. I love a second chance rom-com. In several sections of the book the author went on a weird tangent that never fully got sorted out. However if you pay attention only to Jules and Simon you will enjoy the book.

This is a beautifully written, dual POV, closed door, sweet second chance romantic comedy with one of my favorite FMCs, Jules, who we first met in My Ex-Mas Emergency. She is brilliant and confident internally, but has a hard time showing that to the rest of the world.
Simon, a close friend she had feelings for in college, missed the signs and eventually married her best friend. Now divorced and with an adorable son, he moves to Jules' and his ex-wife's hometown.
Jules (who may or may not be a spy) is already overwhelmed with her family's drama and doesn't have the emotional bandwidth to deal with the hot British voice actor who is regretting all his life choices.
Simon, however, will not let her slip away again,

💟Justis Bolding is fabulous as Jules. I love her phrasing and the way she shows her personality.

So incredibly swoony!

Unforgettable in every way!!

Jules has never gotten over Simon. It's been thirteen years and she doesn't know what is worse - that she still carries a torch for him despite him marrying her friend Penelope, or that when she sees him for the first time in years, the man doesn't even remember her name.

Simon knows he made a mistake in marrying Penelope. But now that he is divorced and runs into his once best friend Jules, he realizes he messed up worse than he thought by letting her get away all those years ago. He is entranced and wants nothing more than to explore the chemistry between them, but Jules is tired of being forgotten and refuses to trust the man who once broker her heart.

This sweet, adorable romance came with all the happy sighs and all the feels! Simon definitely messed up in the past, but wow, what woman wouldn't want to be chased the way that Simon chases Jules? He doesn't want to leave her with any doubts about how he feels and all the sweet gestures are so sweet and romantic!

The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the story to life! And Simon's voice was PERFECT - lots of pressure doing the voice for a character who narrates audiobooks, but it was so well done and the narrator's voice is so swoony, just like Simon's!

Jules is a character with so much depth and I loved her arc. So much truth and so much self-realization. I loved her as a side character in My Ex-Mas Emergency and fell in love with her even more now. And despite being daft, Simon really was perfect for her!

Another 5 star from one of my favorite authors. You need to pick this one up - trust me!

I have been looking forward to hearing Jules story! As always with Jennifer Peels books it DID NOT DISSAPOINT! I loved every second of it! Everything just went together so perfectly! I'm so grateful for a clean feel good book I can get lost in! And the narrators! So good.

Absolutely loved this

This book is soooooo good!! I loved Simon and Jules and their second chance romance. Justis Bolding and Will Watt did an amazing job!

Eh. Do you need to be "seen" all the time?

I tried to ignore all the wokey verbal tics but I can't take it anymore. People winging about being "seen" meaning some form of external validation makes me gag. If you like that stuff. enjoy the book. If ot drives you nuts, save your money or credit.
