Great start

The narration is really good also the backstory is fun. It also did a really good job of setting up the next book which I am about to listen to I think if you’re looking for a new series this is a great one to start with I hope the rest of the books become available on audible soon

Great shifter series start

I really enjoyed this start to the series. It’s got a little spin to the traditional trope. I also really enjoyed the narration. She did a great job with the voices.

It was fine

The story was a fairly typical paranormal romance between a shifter and a human dragged into the shifter world, where she finally finds her sense of home she’s been missing her whole life. There was at least one twist I really didn’t see coming, and there were 2 or 3 steamy sex scenes. I liked a few of the side characters, and how much his pack/family supported him. But overall, nothing in this story really amazing. I think more depth could’ve been added to the characters or how they handled certain revelations. All in all, I’m not hooked enough to continue reading the series.

The narrator was good, but her male voices all kind of blended together.

Great concept. Wasn't sure where the author was going with the climax of the story or what the purpose was but overall it was a good story. There's some nice plot twists and a few hot scenes. Overall not bad though not the best paranormal romance I've read.

really interesting story!

this is the 1st time I've ever listened to anything written by this author. It was well written and I'll definitely be listening to some more of her books. Onto the 2nd book in this series. Cant wait!

Simple shifter romance. Not very complex.

It was ok. The plot was very simplified and lacked the complexity that fleshes out characters and relationships. At no time did I feel any true suspense. So, if one is a person who has a hard time following multiple storylines and complex characters, who have overcome struggles to develop their relationships, this book might be for you.

Started out good, but ending fell flat

Right away I was really into this book, it was well written and the narrator did an awesome job. But as I continued I felt like it was rushed. The main character didn't make any real sacrifices to end up with her man. There should have been a falling out before she got him. What she didn't shouldn't have been shoved under the bus like I didn't happen. I felt she should have had more trouble than she did. I also didn't care for the fact that her becoming a bear shifter was thrown in at the end. I didn't mind that she became a shifter but I was expecting more of a struggle. She should have gone through some trials in order to adjust to being a shifter. It honestly felt like the book was missing chapters. Its really too bad, because like I said it was well written and had a lot of potential in the beginning, I just wish the author hadn't rushed the ending.

Something New

A bit different and delightful, Nice romance and adventure, a bad guy to keep things emotional and a bit of mystery and problem solving. A fun read!

The story was great.

How the reader changed her voices was not a good fit for me. However I really enjoyed the book overall.
