This Is What Divorce Feels Like

There are a couple of other reviews stating they didn’t like the female character because she was always complaining and self-deprecating.

I found this book refreshing. When you go through a divorce, women often don’t feel attractive or “good enough.” Been there, done that and I could really empathize with Blakely. I also loved that Slade understood that and really helped her find herself again.

It doesn’t hurt that they had an immediate connection with each other. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend to anyone. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments mixed in with steamy attraction.

A Hallmark Channel story

I was on the fence about this one in the beginning, but once I got into the story- I couldn't get enough! Slade Henderson.. SWOON! Wonderful story and a lesson to never give up on finding the love you deserve ❤

Very sweet and cute

I was a little “boiling bunny crazy” over this one! Zachary Webber is my all time favorite narrator and he was excellent, as always. The story was a tad predictable but still very much enjoyable! Definitely worth a credit!

Beautifully written

This was a beautifully crafted age gap romance that addressed divorce, self esteem/confidence and real world relationship issues with a compassionate and sensitive touch. So many work/life/love situations were addressed in a realistic yet romantic view that made for a charming and relatable story. Enjoyed this book tremendously.

Absolutely LOVE Flirting With 40

Flirting With 40 made me laugh and swoon. I’m almost 40 myself and felt like I could relate to some parts. I even wrote a list - because I’m a list writer too.
1) Buy Flirting With 40 to read on Kindle. 2) Get captivated with Blakely & Slade from the beginning. 3) Buy Flirting With 40 on Audible because you’re just too excited for their story ... and you see the names of the narrators (a couple of my faves). 4) Laugh so hard you have tears in your eyes when you listen to certain pages/chapters... then swoon during some others. 5) Fall in love with Blade.

Man if there are any guys out there that are anything like Slade give him everything. This guy can get you out of a coma. I really liked listening to this book. Feel good book that brings you out of a bad situation and brings u into the now and new person u can be.

Slade and Blakely are Everything

This book is such a great read. It's real, raw, emotional, and simply beautiful. The narration of this book is amazing, heartwarming, and swoon worthy.

Great characters!

I absolutely loved Blakely! Her doubts and insecurities were so relatable, and her strength was inspiring. Slade was all the things you hope for in a leading man and I could not get enough of these two.

Blakely is one amazing strong woman. Slade is one strong sure of himself man. When he sees what he wants he goes after it. Could not wait to see where they were going.

Great listen

I started this book just before turning 40. It’s a great listen for someone around this age
