interesting setting and authentic characters

First Kim Pritekel novel I've listened to. I enjoyed the narration and the story took many turns I was not expecting. MC's and setting were excellent. I look forward to the next book in this series. Kudos to the author for including the real world relationship issues. I enjoyed the supporting cast very much.

Sweet and hopeful romance

(It’s a shame that a homophobe can overlook the description, refuse to read the book and then give a 1-star rating for no reason besides their own bigotry.)

This was a hopeful story even through the darkness of sexual and domestic abuse. It’s inspiring the way the town heals alongside Faith’s relationship with her father. Wyatt is a sweet character whose strength in spite of her abusive husband is to be admired. There is no abuse explicit in the book, but it is referred to, so be aware before heading in. I assure you however, the warm fuzzies far outweigh the heavy stuff in this precious small-town romance. I’m so glad it’s a series! On to the next!

Loved it

A terrific story. Complicated but so worth the investment. My first by this author but I am already searching for more. Not crazy about the narrator but not enough to pass it up. You won't be sorry.

Faith

I really enjoyed this book. Great character development, relatable people. Some quirky fun characters and LOL moments, overall a good Sapphic story ♥️.
This books deals with domestic violence, which is always hard to deal with.... however the author had the perfect balance of serious and a touch of humor. I'll definitely be buying the next book.

Powerful story. Trigger warning SA.

I liked the book and the narrator. Sensitive topics were handled better than in other books in the genre but it’s difficult not to gloss over to some extent due to the format.

The story & the narration are fantastic!

Kim Pritekel is an amazing author and her “Wynter” series is so damn good. The characters and the story in her book, “Finding Faith” are fantastic. Spectacular story and relatable, beautiful characters abound.

Almost no interaction between the MC's.

I'm about six hours in and cannot continue. In all those hours the a lot happens in this book, but the time the two MC's actually spent together is about 15min combined! The scenes run together so much that it's very confusing to keep track of what's happening. Conversations and interactions has no conclusion, it just jumps to a different scene with no pauses in between to indicate that the scene is done.

The story itself is kind of interesting, but nothing is explained or talked about. And it's about so many other things that there's really not any romance in it at all. The 2% of romance there is, is so haphazard, incomplete and jumping around that it's not making any sense.

The narration is also very monotone and without much emotion.
