Enjoyable listen

Well-written story with interesting characters and unique plot. The narrator was perfect for the story.

Terminal illness isn't all bad

I would have given this book 5 stars but it went on a bit long for my taste and it has a lot of characters to keep track of, however it was a very good book. I found myself trying to figure out what was happening next only to be thrown a curveball. Nice twists and turn. I recommend it to anyone liking this genre. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great “QWERKY” novel

I really enjoyed this unusual suspense novel. No way to predict what may happen next and very well done. Glad I took the time!

Find You First

I had no idea what the story would be when I purchased this book. I'm glad I listened to this story as my former wife was afflicted with Huntington's and so our children must deal with the thought of suffering what they saw their mother go through.

The narrator is awesome! Don’t ever let him go. Good story. Mr Newbern is a real asset.

Top notch

First book by this amazing author. Could not stop listening. First thriller that had me in tears at the final sentence. Wish there was a little less sex and language, but other than that perfect. Will read more by this author! Very good narration as well.

Super read!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this story was excellent. I like liking the characters and there were a couple I liked very much. I also appreciate goodness, kindness and loyalty. If you do too, you’ll enjoy this book.

Excellent, exciting, heartfelt.

It keeps you interested and on your toes. You care about the protagonists and dislike the antagonists, as intended.

The narrator is easy to understand and has a pleasant voice.

Always a solid story from Lynwood Barclay...

This is one of those authors I can always count on for a good mystery. In the vein of Harlan Coben this author takes a “normal“ every day occurrence and makes a menacing story that captivates until the end.
The publisher’s summary is very comprehensive and gives away almost too much of the story. I won’t add to this or I might as well tell the ending!
The characters are believable and fleshed out. They’re flawed and don’t always make the right decisions which makes them more endearing and realistic. The plot is plausible if not feasible.
George Newbern does a great job narrating.
This book is VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
