Great Read

The first in the Holly Barker series. A must read for Stuart Woods fans.

An engaging suspenseful tale.

I liked the storyline. I also liked how engaged the narrator(s) kept me without creating a fast paced vibe. Allowing the story to unfold smoothly. Job well done.

Her voice put me off a bit but otherwise good story. Surprise ending kept you guessing

Fun, fast and a good read!!

Fast moving after a slow start. Interesting characters, narration good except the "voice" given the heroine by the narrator was annoying.

Happy to see that it was about the plot of the story besides details of the sex

I read read Stone Barrington/Holly Barker Reckless Abandon out of order and I was really disgusted by that book for its details of their sex acts. Which Stuart Woods seems to like to do that with Stone Barrington‘s books. So glad he didn’t do it with this one. Storyline was good I enjoyed the book and it was so refreshing for him just to reference to them going to have sex besides having to go all out details and every time they did it had to be wild monkey sex.

Phenomenal book, glad I can speed up the audio

This book was phenomenal, it was expertly written and keeps you engaged. The narrator speaks so slowly though, I was happy to have the option to speed up the audio to a more comfortable speed for me personally. Otherwise it would have been hard to follow since it would have lulled me to sleep. I think maybe some people like that, but other than that, the narrator was ok

I certainly enjoyed this story. I couldn’t get enough. I love Stuart Woods books but have it narrated is great.

Great Story Line & Narration

Very enjoyable book. Story line is very well written, as one would expect from such a great author as Stuart Woods. Characters are well developed and relevant to story. Mystery is one that keeps you guessing with surprising twists all the way through. Romance is just enough to keep it real, but not R rated. Narration is well done. And of course any book that includes an accurate representation of a Doberman has to be awesome - especially when she is one of the main characters. So nice to see the breed properly portrayed as the intelligent, loyal and loving dogs they are. Daisy loves everyone unless she is told to work, which is very accurate for the breed. Overall great book and highly recommended
