Incredibly useful, concise & well narrated!
I genuinely wish I had this (audio)book a few years ago when the matter of asking for a raise or promotion was becoming top of mind.
It’s a perfect blend of motivation, inspiration and specific, actionable steps along with examples of which phrases to use or not use in your conversation or email. It covers prep (research/practice/setup), execution and follow-up, and a lot of it is applicable not just to monetary raises but also promotions to the next job level.
What I really like is that it is also pretty straightforward in that sometimes a job change is a very viable option.
It may seem short, but it is jam packed with great content that will get you on the road to asking for that raise.
I should also mention the narrator. Jennifer Sterling has done an excellent job narrating this book and was very enjoyable to listen to.

No excuses--go get your raise!
After listening to this book, I now feel confident that I could ask for and get a raise. Maybe not the raise I deserve (because whoever gets that?) but a sizable raise more worthy of the work I produce. And I can go in prepared, without fear, because I'll have the data I need to make my case.

A half hour investment and more money for you
This book starts with a story of being faced with a choice, but it's a no-fail choice. That's exactly what asking for a raise is. You won't be any worse off, even if your boss says no. But people are afraid to ask. Who is going to give you a raise if you don't ask? And, as they say, the answer to the question you don't ask is always no. This book helps you to conquer your fear and get what you deserve.

Excellent Advice
I think most employees have reservations about asking for a pay rise. The advice given by the author is clear and concise, enabling, in my opinion, any employee to ask for a rise professionally and confidently. The book fully covers strategies to use, including examples of what not to say or do.
The narration was clear and engaging. Great job all around!

Every employee needs this!
Let's face it--very few companies will seek you out to ask you if you want a raise. In fact, they'll pay you as little as they can get away with before you walk. This audiobook should be part of every business management coursework because, as the author says, it's our responsibility to advocate for a fair salary. This book teaches you how to ask while keeping your sanity and not quaking in your boots (it's business, after all). Just as important, it teaches you the research and preparation you need to do beforehand to increase your chance of success. Highly recommend!
