Ignore Every Thing and Listen

The continuing saga of the Armstrong family and the renewal of the Republic of Texas continues without disappointment. You will not want to stop listening as the 1S1K victim as revealed and the family, the new nation and her citizens are thrust into new trial and tribulations. Bobby Akart tells a riveting story and provides what might be called political prophecy. Bobby also solidifies himself as the king of the literary cliffhanger. His endings just make you want to cuss your fool head off! If you are just reading this review for Fifth Column, make sure you get the first four books...they are a must!

All I can say is that Author Bobby Akart is amazing! I think that this is his best series yet. I love the Armstrong ranch and the Armstrong family. Read this series.

He did it again

One of my favorite genres and Bobby hit right on the head with this series

On the edge of my seat reading.

Really good stuff, although it is a bit slow and over wordy in parts, what with being overly descriptive at times. Or possibly repetitive. I was on the edge in the beginning, then...Well I do love this series is all I can say.

Another Great...

Anthoer great book in the series. Very remincent of Jericho. Nice that the same voice actor has read them all.

Never disappoints...

Wonderful series, sad to have the series over... Can't say enough great things about this series and the author. Must read series...

Excellent continuation of the series,

I love this story and was listening to Sean all day. I was listening deep into the book, story and what happens next - then it ended. Sean held my interest all day, through at home with TV off, in car bluetoothed to the system, and from my phone in my pocket. Very good.

Great series Great listen

I have listened to all of the Texas books. This series is really good. I did have a question though. I understand an EMP took down the country's power grid and all electronics and that Texas had a hardened grid. But how does the death squad steel 70 new Ford pickup trucks from a dealership? Are they not venerable also? Other than that, this is a very well written series, and the narration was excellent. I will definitely listen to more Bobby Akart books and look for Sean Runnette to narrate.

not same level as first books

several logical errors ruin several episods. you get back, but still this book was emty and extended to sell you next book.

Again I have been left on the edge of my seat!Great story and can’t wait for the next installment. This series as with all of Bobby Akart books is one of the best!
