About this listen

Sometimes the best defense is a good offense...

Now that Eric Branson and his small militia have a much better idea of what they’re up against, it’s time to go on the offensive and take the fight to the enemy.

The first mission involves the rescue of the friends he and Jonathan met on the upper Atchafalaya River. But Eric Branson won’t ignore the opportunity to strike hard at the heart of the operation that is bringing so much fear and disruption to the residents of the region.

Good series horrible narration

I really like the Feral Nation series and will continue til the end but that doesn’t mean I enjoy the narration. This series is too good to be taken down in ratings by such a subpar narrator and I hope in the future that will be taken into consideration. Anyway… I think I finally figured out what one of the main problems is with the narrator. He has to be reading the story for the first time ever while recording. You can tell he doesn’t know what’s going to happen as he quite often puts the wrong emphasis on words where there shouldn’t be any as if he thinks he knows what’s going to happen next but in reality he has no clue. Sentences run into each other making scene changes hard to follow. Not to mention he can’t pronounce basic words and often stumbles and bumbles his way through the book. “The” is not pronounce “da”

I’m sorry I can’t give 5 stars all around. This is an audiobook review and good, decent narration is a basic must-have in my books. This is sorely lacking.

Too short, terrible narrator!

I love this series but after waiting months for this instalment, the same poor narrator is reading it firntge first time in the recording studio AND this is only part of a story. it should have been twice as long for what I'm paying. This is my lowest review for this autjor and I hope it is taken as constructive criticism. if you have writer's block, get over it, block out the narrative and crank out a few mite books in this series twice as long as this novella and I will keep paying to find outbid Eric ever makes it to his tropical island paradise. Also, this short story seemed a bit to contrived and coincidentally perfect for Eric. setups and resolutions were easily foreseen. Love you at your best. Please, make more.

Narrator is annoying

Great story, narrator is awful. constantly sounds like he can barely form words. Makes it difficult to listen to.
