Wow! Ruthless!
This story has so many moments where my jaw dropped and the characters were super murdery. LOL! The spice was real. This was not what I thought it was going to be and I’m so glad. I was very hesitant to start this book but it was fantastic!

Dragons, romance, plot, spice, and banter everything you could possibly want in a book!
The FMC is amazing, she is strong, fiesty but has a big heart and the best banter with the MMC who is also strong, and would burn the world for her with a hint of shadows. The book just starts off and right away you are pulled into this amazing story following Elowen as she fights to get her (5) soul bound dragons back. The banter and relationship between all of the characters will have you laughing and smiling all the way. It is an epic beginning to an adventurous and thrilling story. I’m so excited for book 2. Also the spice is just…. Chefs kiss.

Amazing world development and characters
I haven’t read a fantasy romance novel this good in a long time. The characters aren’t insufferable and their dialogue is perfect. Just enough banter and understanding. All of the characters work well together and hold deep meaning into the story. The romance scenes aren’t out of place and help the story flow. Over all 10/10 in my book!

All I have been looking for in one book
British narrator, badass FMC, devoted MMC, dragons, spicy spice, found family, doesn’t hate girly things, it’s literally perfect. Also the FMC is 25 years old. Can’t wait for the next book!

It had everything I needed in a book and the narrator was perfect🤭 100/10 highly recommend reading… dragons, FMC exile princess who is morally grey, a morally grey MMC, enemies to lovers, great banter, some spice, epic adventure/plot, and an awesome narrator☺️

Very classic Romantasy with amazing narration
*4.5 stars rounded to 5 * Very classic Romantasy. Warring kingdoms, reluctant allies, found family, dragon bonds, and more. This book got me out of a reading slump. I really enjoyed reading from Elowen’s POV, and I liked her character a lot. I am currently obsessed with the love interest. I also am quite fond of the side characters that make the found family. The pacing wasn’t as consistent as I would have preferred (really fast then dragged - repeat). Some of the plot lines felt a bit rushed and underbaked, but overall it was enjoyable. Some really good quotes and I enjoyed the writing. What really made this read for me though was the audiobook. I LOVED Hannah’s accents for different characters and listening to her narrate was fantastic.
