Good primer on fasting

Superb primer on fasting providing lots of evidence-based benefits of fasting especially if you have type 2 diabtes or have extra pounds to lose. Prior to listening this I had only done 3-4 day fasts and was a bit scared to go longer than that. After listening this book it gave me confidence of going longer, I'm currently on day 5 of an at least 10 days fast . One gripe I do have is that it does not go into any depth in breaking a fast as even a 2 days fast any food I have will go right through me.

Great resource!

Easy to listen . Full of useful information which included a list of the studies used. I was interested in fasting for weight loss and after listening this book, I feel ready to begin. Thanks Kyle Faber.

Was helpful

Intermitted low carb fasting will change your life. Easy diet to do. In 3 months I lost 15 pounds. AC1 went from 7.6 to 6.4.

An Absolute Must listen

This is the Holy Grail of diet and weight loss! Years of yo yo dieting, fitness classes and other efforts to keep weight under control were a constant never ending struggle. I just couldn't understand why managing my weight was so hard when I was following all the "best advice" .It has been life changing. No more yoyo weight. I lost and have kept off a considerable amount of weight for over a year now, and I bought "The Complete Guide to Fasting" as a follow up for more specific guidance on fasting. Do yourself a favor and just listen these books. You will wish you'd found this knowledge years ago!

I recommend the Fast Diet. Yes

I've been following the Fasting and Intermittent Fasting for three years, have lost over 20 pounds, and have kept it off with no problem. I especially like the new recipes. I've suggest this book to several friends, and one or two are still doing the 5:2 fast. Fasting is not for everyone, but for those who can, it's a great way to lose weight and get healthy. Fasting and Intermittent Fasting is just awesome.

Love this book

Love this book because it shows you the healthy side of fasting. After following this book I lose 40 pounds with no more high blood pressure pills and diabetes numbers are great. I highly recommend this book for anyone.

I highly recommend

Kyle Fabe's thoughts on how are bodies are designed and how we should eat is life changing. I have struggled with yoyo weight for years. Now I know why and it's going to change. I highly recommend this book if you have weight issues.

Definitive Guide to Fasting

I have struggled with weight loss over adulthood, and a nurse brought this topic to my attention. Given that we as Americans, eat for various reasons, focus a lot on eating. Many cultures practice various forms of fasting for religious or lifestyle practices.
