For example, did you know that there was a major meteor impact in Canyonlands that left a crater three miles wide and had the effect of an 8.0 earthquake on nearby rocks, deforming them for miles? And that little 10-year-old Wiladeane Chaffin once herded cattle all alone in some of the most rugged and remote country known (the Maze)?
And how about the photographer who decided to try a unique technique for lighting up Delicate Arch and ended up getting himself banned from the park? And is it really possible that you’re being followed by the same raven from site to site?
