Jenn Windrow has a great series in the making

Strong female lead, good storyline, the characters are personable, relatable and I love all the snark. I can't wait till the next book comes out.

what a fantastic book. well written lot's of action great characters you will want to know about. the romance is not over done. the back story's on the characters come throughout the book at the right time loved how that was done. the performance was done very very well without a doubt I will be listening to more done by Chelsea Stevens. can't wait for more by Jenn Windrow overall very good don't hesitate lol oh beware you won't want to stop listening.

Enjoyable tale with great narration

This book is an entry in the Alexis Black series and hits upon a ton of fun and entertaining story beats that urban fantasy fans have come to love and know. We get a wise-cracking main character, a good amount of paranormal races combating each other both in a political spectrum and more viscerally. A good cast of characters, set pieces, twists all paced well and narrated very well by Chelsea Stephens.

Overall an exciting and entertaining entry in a series I look forward to continuing. Jenn Windrow's urban fantasy series is enjoyable and I recommend any urban fantasy fans to check it out.

Fantastic Story

I did not read book one and I wish I had because this stroy was sooooo good! I was sucked in from the start and had a hard time putting this story down because I wanted to know what would happen next. The narrator did a wonderful job with distinguishable character voices and on point pacing. This is a must read for any vampire fan and I promise you wont see the end coming!! I cant wait to see where Alexis journey goes next but in the mean time I am going back and reading Book 1!

Totally enjoyable

The brisk to the point writing moves the story along and makes you cheer from the sidelines . Storyline surprises make you look forward to the next novel.

A great follow up

Book 2 was just as good as book 1. I did not have the feeling that I was missing something like I did with book 1, and that was a good thing! Alexis is still in her messy situations, dysfunctional family and all. It is an up and down ride that you should definitely take!! Hopefully you will be as surprised as I was.

The awesomeness of Alexis Black and this series continues with book two, Evil’s Ultimate Huntress. From the moment I immersed myself into this captivating world, I became hooked—hooked on the kick-ass, strong, witty female vampire who is one lethal assassin you don’t want to cross… hooked on the colorful bunch of all-male sidekicks who bring their individual strengths/powers to the party (and yes, Nathan the ghost is still my bloody favorite, but even Vlad brings out his witty sarcasm in this one)… and finally… hooked on an amazing and unique storyline that continues to unfold throughout the series, giving way to Alexis’ past as she fights the war against evil, gaining new formidable enemies along the way. It just keeps getting better and better! Chelsea Stephens did a fantastic job again on the narration. The voice she gives to Alexis, capturing the assassin’s emotions, badassery, and witty charm is just perfection. Even Chelsea’s cast of voices for the supporting characters are spot on, truly giving the ultimate experience of personalities and interaction among this band of misfits. If you love paranormal, urban fantasy reads then this series needs to be on your list!

Outstanding Paranormal Fantasy Series

I enjoyed book one and this book is even better! I was truly blown away by how captivating this book is! I could not put it down and there are some unexpected twists and turns I never saw coming.

If you like paranormal vampire stories, you should get this series. I would definitely start with book one so you understand where the characters are coming from. The characters are interesting and the story progresses at a great pace.

Narration was well done and brought the story to life.

I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Alexis is now a vampire and all she wants is the stay alive the book was very very good and very interesting the story was mesmerizing as in the first book I had to read the first story to understand this book but it was worth it and I loved it
