Delightful Read - highly recommended

This book was a pleasure to read like all the books in this series. In fact, the books are getting better and better. I love the predicaments Ellison get into. I also enjoy the wacky characters. Setting the series in an exclusive country club during the 1970s is just perfect.
The books are fanciful, so expect the plot to stretch believably and to be similar in each book. Somehow that doesn’t detract from how much I enjoy them.
I highly recommend this book.

My very favorite series!

I love this series! I grew up in 60’s and 70’s so I’m hungry for a tale of those times. Elision is adorable in Love with her new husband who is crazy about her. It’s a perfect story and I want many many more please Ms Mulhern!

Great story line who did it kept you guessing

All of these books in this series are so fun and exciting. I can't wait to read each new story. Great characters and story lines.

Loved every minute of yet another great story in the Country Club series…Julie Mulhern is one of my favorite authors and Callie Beaulieu really bring the characters to life with the perfect voice inflections.

Love this Series

I have listen or read all the books in this series. I totally prefer listening to because the narrator really brings the characters to life. I have told family and friends about this series and they all are enjoying them.

Murder has never been so much fun!

I absolutely love this series and it is a must listen series for me as the narrator does such an outstanding job of bringing the characters, emotions and plot fully to life! Ellison is freshly back from her honeymoon when she finds out someone has died suspiciously and while thinking she might get to sit this one out, she finds she is drug into the investigation anyway. What ensues is hilarious unraveling of a crazy person that puts Ellison and her family in the crosshairs for what may be the last time for all of them. If you haven't read or listened to this series, then you are seriously missing out. This author brings the 70's in the KC country club set fully to life with much humor and entertainment. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to come out.

Fun Escapist Read

I absolutely love Julie Mulhern’s books. I also love the narrator. Her books make me laugh. As I read I also get caught up in the mystery. I savor them, knowing a new one will take some time, but each is worth it. I did not suspect the ending on this one. If looking for something that makes you laugh and keeps you guessing and intrigued, I highly recommend Julie Mulhern’s books.
