Beautiful and heartwarming

I’ve already read this book as an ebook and loved it but listening to it puts it on another level. You can feel the emotions just listening to it. The narrators were amazing. The male narrator was exactly how I imagined Leo to sound! The female narrator was the perfect fit for Addie will definitely be looking for more book narrated by them..

So cute

Leo and Adelaide “Addie” had a marriage of convenience, and it was all to help Addie. She was hesitant, because she didn’t want real feelings or attachment, not after what she went through with her ex. But Leo insisted, and she eventually agreed.

The way Leo had zero hesitations when it came to Addie was so swoony. And the way he was with her kids? Ugh, seriously so dang cute. Ooh, and he was really a golden retriever, but when it came to his “wife and kids” well, he was so protective.

Addie definitely got stronger and healed, all because Leo refused to give up on her. And he proved to her over and over that he would always be there.

This was such a great addition to the series, and I cannot wait to see what’s next.

Narration Style: Dual

The narrators were great! They had the perfect voice for their respective character.

As always, everything that comes from the mind of Bella Matthews is utter perfection. And the narrators she chooses? Are exactly how I pictured the characters. The tone in how the speak, the way they express the emotion that's on the page....LOVE IT.


I already had this as an ebook so I read as I listened and with both I was totally immersed in the world created. Gave me a much needed break from reality ❤️

Holy Over Protective Alpha Leo

I truly ended up enjoying Leo and Addie’s story more than I thought! I kept comparing them to the others in the series. And because this was the first couple not in the friend’s circle. I did feel Leo’s insta love was a little off putting in the beginning, just because in previous books, he’s always talking about getting laid. But I loved seeing his protective side! I really enjoyed the plot especially with the ex. It wasn’t just at the end like with other suspense plots in her other books. It actually was a big part of the plot this time, and I love me some suspense! I’m excited for Kill’s story next!

loved the narrators

I liked each narrator and I was able to listen at my usual speed of 2.5 and was able to understand the narrators without them sounding like chipmunks. The voices were just what I envisioned for these characters having read the ebook version previously.

Leo FREAKING Sinclair

This book was soo good! All of the books by Bella Matthews have been phenomenal and I’m obsessed with all of the MMC’s from her books so far. But LEO!!! Holy crap on a stick this man took LOVE at first sight and leveled up! He proved time and time again he was all in from the jump with Addie and her girls.
One of my FAVORITE lines from this was “At no point was me marrying you for any reason other than it was the only way I could come up with for you to date me.” This man knew what he wanted and took the opportunity that landed in his lap. And Ms. Addie was something fierce, yes she was scared and yes she had sky high walls to protect herself but once she started trusting him we got to see the full Addie James Sinclair! And she was an amazing mom and always put them above all else. This woman didn’t even acknowledge Leo the first time they came face to face ! And the spice was SPICIN!!
AND the way Lee Samuels & Vanessa Edwin bring these characters to life HOLY SH*T!! Sooo freaking good!!

Loved Loved Loved

I loved every minute of this story. While I struggle to get into audiobooks... these three were my favorite. I loved the way they made me feel like I was in the character's head and a part of the story.

Leo is phenomenal and his love for Addie never wavered even when she felt she wasn't deserving of it and don't get me started on his love for the girls. I'm a sucker for a hot daddy/step daddy.

I have just loved this series so far and I can easily say this is my new favorite! Leo and Addie were honestly perfect for each other, this man was all in from day one and did whatever he could to show Addie and her girls how loved they were. Their story was so beautiful, I truly couldn't put this one down! Addie has been through so much and I just loved seeing Leo work to break down her walls and love her the way she deserves. Leo is perfection and so amazing with his girls. He would do anything for them, they were always his top priority and always did what he had to to keep them safe and happy 🩷

First let me say I do not know how Bella does it every time with these characters but she truly is amazing. Let me just tell you Leo SInclair is swoon worthy in every way possible. There is nothing better than a man being a baby whisperer! Let's not forget our Addie, this is one strong mama bear! Leo and Addie's story was just so amazing and that is about all I can say because you just need to read it! It is that good! Lee Samuels and Vanessa Edwin brought these characters to life brilliantly and Ava Lucas with our Kroydon Kronciles!

Daddy Leo 😍

Just love a man that knows what he wants and nothing gets in the way! Like all the Krodyn Hill men, Leo Sinclair doesn’t disappoint! Smitten by the James girls from the start Leo jumps in to help Addie with her girls and problems. Addie learns just how the Sinclair men love and treat their ladies!!
