what the crap was that as a ending

loved it but definitely think it needs to continue! I would like to know what happens to the kids and the other characters. good book left me wanting more.

Narrator brought this story to life and gave me a few tears.Was able to listen in one sitting,, this time. Needs to be a series,,, waiting for book 2. Off to my next Adventure.

I am not a huge fan of paranormal books but this book has made me a fan. This book was great! Police Officer Aspen Wolfe has no idea she is a shapeshifter. After meeting Dr. Tora Madigan, also a shapeshifter, she figures it out.

Their chemistry is awesome and the story about humans trying to eradicate shifters is awesome. I loved the main characters and the multitude of side characters.

Brittni Pope brought the characters to life!

Great story. Marvelous narration. Waiting for book two. Loved all the characters and the story.

Enjoyable!

The story was not only a story of a possible humanity but also of super humanity. It was also a love story. The interactions of the main protagonists and the side players are elegantly presented to give you a fantasy of proportions you usually don't come across! I love the story and recommend it

Hope there's a book 2!

I really enjoyed this book! There were some things I wished were expanded on more, but overall, the story was really entertaining and I love the way the Shrouds and their culture is depicted. I do agree with some of the other reviews noting that the ending was kinda abrupt.I really hope there's a book 2 one day to continue the story!

Great story but ends abruptly

Please tell me this is just book one and there will be sequels. The story flows along nicely with great narration but it seems like the story ends really abruptly without resolving several major questions. *spoilers follow* Several times characters warn Aspen that the first time she mates will be rather unusual but we never get any more info or experience. Another issue: the rescued gets brought back and we get no follow up or even an introduction to them. And the book ends mid-battle! There has got to be a book 2 coming. We need resolution. If so, then this book was well worth the credit.

Great listen, can't wait for the next one!

This is the first time for me to try a Michelle Larkin book. It will not be the last!
