Such a great story!!! absolutely LOVE everything about this series. This series is for sure something to listen to again and again! would love to see this as a movie or better a series!

Total immersion into perfect escapism!

If you are reading this review it is because you probably read books 1 and 2 and are dying to find out if all your prayers are going to be answered. I can assure you, you won't be disappointed.

The talent of world creation, character building, genre meshing, action packed scene splicing, and heart-wrenching plots is brought to light by this author in a level worthy of King's The Dark Tower series. Andrews drops all the right beats and all the greatest twists. It will have you ripping through pages long into the night.

Saydah brought every character to life as distinctly and fully as they are written. She has a perfect pace through each scene.

I loved this series and recommend diving head first into as soon as you can. I loved this book and did not want it to end. I want to know more. I know how long this one took you and how much energy it yanked out of you...but make another, Eliza. Please 🙏!!!

What a great book. I’m amazed she was able to fit so much in one book. Wow. So sad it’s done though.

Brilliant Trilogy!!

I am very impressed with the world building of this trilogy, each subsequent book took us deeper and deeper into a world centered on two powerhouse queer heroines! The story just drew me in and kept me hooked until the very end!! Political intrigue, war, sorcery …and above all love and devotion, loyalty and steadfastness enduring through it all.

And as great as the books are, they were made even more engaging by the performance of Elizabeth Saydah, which was phenomenal, all of the various accents and dialects were just absolutely brilliant!!

I would read this trilogy, or listen to, again and again!!

Amazing! Obsessed with this series

Eliza has done it again, another fantastic book in this epic trilogy! I have fallen in love with these characters over the course of the series, each one fully fleshed & the women are strong, smart, & capable. The narration by Elizabeth is, once again, brilliantly dynamic which further immerses you in the story. If you're looking for an epic fantasy with a deep storyline and tasteful WLW relationships this book is for you! Honestly, I'd love to see this as a film or show because we NEED more of this!!!

I really enjoyed the series and how it wrapped up. The narration was great! To have a fantasy series with lesbian relationships, action, adventure, and romance without feeling like I’m listening to soft porn was refreshing!! More of this please :)

I didn't like the ending

I loved this book, the series, hated the ending. That could just be me not wanting it to be over, though. And I definitely missed the romance aspects that were present in the previous 2. Good overall, sad it's over.

I really loved this storyline, characters, and world that the author created for this series! I hope there will be another series or spin-off that will pick up where this book leaves off. I am also very curious about the prequel that the author has started to write about this series.
