The drama!!!

I could not stop listening. After listening to this, I can’t imagine being tossed into a world that I don’t belong or maybe I do belong.

This gave me all the feels

I went into this series completely blind after buying the set, and let me tell you, I loved it. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about a high school romance, but it moves into the future pretty quickly and had me all in from the start. The first book shattered my heart, and the rest helped put it back together.

The narrator did an amazing job bringing each character to life. Her emotional delivery pulled me right into the story. I felt everything they felt and stayed fully locked in the entire time.

Brooklyn went through so much. Her trauma felt raw and real, and Matt was there for her in the moments she needed someone. But the fact that he kept her a secret? She deserved better. The bully romance was done right, full of drama and growth without feeling over the top.

If you're looking for a binge-worthy series that follows the same characters as they grow up and go through real struggles, grab this one. I’m so glad I took a chance on it.

Like it but the main character drives me nuts!

I did really enjoy this book and love Ivy Smoak, I knew it was a high school type of narrative but my gosh the main character annoyed the ever loving crap out of me. She was such a whiner. Still kept listening because the narrator made it bearable but this is probably my least favorite series from this author. My expectations are very high since the made of steel series though.

intolerable main character

The story moved along, but the MC was so irritating I had to force myself to finish this series. She is definitely not a role model for young women.

Amazing

Brooklyn come to New York after losing her mom and finding out who is her father is. The boy who she has a crush hide their relationship. He hiding a secret from her and his friend and the one who know is blackmailing him. It involve high school love drama and death and broken hearts. There is no Hea is a series.

Love it

I love the narrator they are amazing lending there voices the bring Matt and Brooklyn. Brooklyn come to New York after her mother dead and she staying with her uncle and she start going to Empire high for the rich and her uncle work there as a janitor. Matt is part of the elite and an untouchable. There is betrayal which Brooklyn find out she is part of the world when she loose her uncle and her bully is her half sister and Matt always keep her a dirty secret. And this audiobook narrated to book one thru book three. I love the series

Interesting High School story

I like the three books. I read them in a week. I have to say, while the voice of the female character is very well done, I'm torn towards the MC. She does not like to make confrontations. I do not want to give spoilers, but the story is interesting.

WTF

I understand the life is not Usually, an HEA, this is not life is fiction and I get it. You wanted to create a true drama. At least give me the common courtesy of a little bit of karma. the series was a four star series until the very end, I still have a lot of unanswered questions and it least let the demons get a little bit of pain before you end it.

Another Stupid Female Lead Character 🙄

Could've been a good book, but the lead FMC was such a weak-weak character. Narration was ok.
