An unexpected treasure

The story developed slowly but it kept my interest as to where it was going. Hannah's character is depicted as very believable and relatable. couldn't get a read on Asher, but that just made his character more interesting. I didn't realize it was a trilogy, so that is a bonus.

The narrator, Eleanor Caudill, did an excellent job.

I recommend this as an excellent read.

Hmm, the struggle was real.

Well, I was glad when this book ended. Seriously, it was a struggle to finish.

The story line had potential, but it took forever to get going. Hannah just lost her way for way too long in this story. It dragged on and on. There was a lot of unnecessary filler. I was so glad when it was over and there was not even a little part of me that wanted to move on to the next book.

I cannot recommend this book at all.

The narration was good. Eleanor Caudill did a great job on all the voices including the male voices. But the narration just couldn't help the story.

Good idea, poor execution

Way too many logic and editorial gaps. Loved the concept but was unable to finish because of the issues with the writing and even the performance.
