Publisher's summary

Easy For You To Say is "Stuttering" John Melendez's memoir of his childhood being bullied in school for his stutter; his years as an on-air personality with The Howard Stern Show; and his subsequent 10-year career as a writer and on-air announcer for Jay Leno's Tonight Show. It details his famously acerbic relationships with celebrities he interviewed/insulted (Raquel Welch once punched him in the face). In the audiobook, Howard Stern emerges as a surprisingly mean, stingy, and megalomaniacal boss - and Jay Leno as a seeming sufferer from OCD.

Good but wrong about Jackie & Artey...

Weird all the praise he places on Artey while he does not properly explain how important Jackie was on the show and how Jackie attempted to rightly obtain a fair salary for the show staff.

this really is a good book

I enjoyed this book. I stayed interested throughout the entire book. I will never understand how people that work or worked for Howard Stern could put up with the constant insults and mistreatment dished out everyday.

Love John and even the mistakes left in the audio book (you can hear john talking to producer throughout the work).

This is a great book.....even greater listen!

I love biographies/autobiographies and this one did not disappoint! Not only was it a great story but I loved how John Melendez narrated it. He tells his own story well and it's entertaining to listen to. Great book!

This Is the Best Audio Book Ever!

I was a religious Stern listener for over a decade. This audio book, extremely well narrated by John, took me right back to the Glory Days of that show! The only thing better than bringing me right back to that great time, was the inside information that I wasn't aware of. I don't want to reveal or spoil any of the shocking and revealing stories in this kick butt tell-all for the potential listener. So all I'll say is, if you were a fan of the Stern Show back when it was still good, you definitely want to hear some of this dirt for sure! 5 out of 5 stars till the cows come home!!

Good job stupid.

A great audiobook for the Howard stern fan of yesteryear and a honest insight on the behind the scenes of the HS Show. I disliked Stuttering John for betraying Howard but this audiobook put things into perspective. I'm glad he left that toxic environment and found his happiness.
