Publisher's summary

Drip Castle takes place in the small Northern Ontario mining town of Tear Falls. Layered underneath this mystery is a compelling depiction of small-town life, where everyone’s livelihoods revolve around the industry of mining and who have no recourse but to go outside the system when confronted with crises and emergencies.

In Tear Falls, “what goes around, comes around”, takes on a whole new meaning for Rick Torrison. He wants to take his mother to a hospital in Mexico to cure her MS. To get the money he takes a job at the local Tear Falls airport fueling planes.

There he meets a young upstart security guard named Randy Biggs, who is quick to show Rick other opportunities to make his money.

Rick takes him up on an offer, but it’s one that draws his family, friends and everyone in Tear Falls, into unexpected consequences.

Very human characters

There’s a big emphasis on seeing people in their entirety, good and bad. This made for a book full of believable people.
